China's aircraft carrier platform sets sail again

2012-05-28 (China Military News cited from military online) -- China's aircraft carrier platform which had berthed in the Dalian Port set sail again at around 9 o'clock on May 23, 2012.

At 09:00 sharp, the aircraft carrier platform sailed out of the port with the help of the tugboats and into the sea lane for the deep sea 30 minutes later.

The reporter saw at the port that the No.88 Ship of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) which had accompanied the aircraft carrier platform previously did not show up this time.

The Liaoning Maritime Affairs Administration issued LHJ0099 navigation warning at 08:15 on May 21 saying military missions are scheduled from 08:00 of May 22 to 18:00 of June 2 within the waters bounded by five positions. No vessel shall enter the area during the period.

Die basiert doch auf der Su-33, oder hab ich was verpasst? Wär mir neu, dass die Chinesen die Su-25 nachbauen.

aber Du hast recht - natürlich nicht die Su-25 :oops:
China hat die Lizenz der Su-27 erworben und daraus diverse Ableitungen entwickelt .... und bei der Trägervariante sollen Erkenntnisse aus einer ersten Version der Su-33 mit eingeflossen sein, wobei nix genaues nicht bekannt ist

p.s.:
nach neuester Meldung ist das alte Waräger-Mädchen "out again";
das Modell ist vom Flugdeck verschwunden - wohl im Hangar, weil es wenig Sinn macht, so ein mock-up an Bord erst mühselig zu hieven und dann gleich wieder runter zu holen ... ach ja, und die Fangseile sind auf einem Foto des auslaufenden Schiffes deutlich zu sehen

CHINA'S aircraft carrier has set out from Dalian in the northeastern province of Liaoning on sea trials that will last 25 days, the longest yet, and experts say domestic J-15 fighters may be involved in landing and takeoff exercises.

An area on the north Bohai Sea region is out of bounds to civilian boats until the end of the month.

"The longest sea trials indicate the aircraft carrier has finished the first step of tests on the ship itself and is beginning tests of aircraft landing and takeoff," military analyst Yin Zhuo, a retired major general, said yesterday.

Military experts believe the carrier will be commissioned next month on China's Army Day, August 1, but say there still seems much to be done.

ein Flugzeugträger ohne Aufklärungsflugzeuge und Tanker ist nur die halbe Miete - der Einsatz von Fightern wird erst mit diesen Unterstützungsflugzeugen effektiv.
