North Korea says it will respond to Japan's spy satellite launch attempt

Seoul, South Korea-AP -- North Korea says it will take unspecified countermeasures in response to Japan's attempt to launch two spy satellites to monitor the communist country.

Japan tried unsuccessfully last month to launch the satellites into orbit but failed because of technical problems.
