1. According to public information, direct spending on Liaoning may not exceed USD 3.5 billion.
2. Chinese modified boilers of Varyag successful comparing to Indian carrier modified by Russian.
3. Shipborne aviation subsystems such as damage control, ammunition storage, and ammunition transportation are important technical points if China can learn something from her operations.
