Dr. Wu Shicun, the director of the National Institute for South China Sea Studies announced today that China does not want to control all of South China Sea.
He said that China wants only 80% of the disputed region, leaving the remaining 20% for the half-a-dozen or so neighboring nations. The announcement by the official came even as a senior Malaysian official urged the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), to form a unified front against the Chinese aggression.
