Und wenn du schon dabei bist bitte auch eine Quelle zu der Behauptung die Amis seien gegen indische MiG-21 geflogen. Nach meiner Erinnerung waren das nämlich auch SU-30.

Nicht beteiligt waren auch die neuen indischen SU-30MKI, es fanden sich - neben Mirage-2000 und modernisierten MiG-21, MiG-27 und Jaguars - aber sehr wohl die "normalen" indischen SU-30K ein, das erste Mal konnten während 2 x 30min. pro Tag modernere 'Flanker' von westlichen Piloten "beübt" werden.
Kurz skizziert: Es waren dann die Eagle-Drivers die "beübt" wurden. Die Amerikaner sollen - nicht nur nach euphorischen "Hindustan"-Artikeln sondern nach US-Quellen - 90% der Engagements verloren haben. Am ersten Tag wurden alle vier Eagles vernichtet. Es gelang nicht - auch nur einmal - eine SU-30 zu eliminieren, im Gegenteil. Jene hatte immer den "längeren Schuss". Aber selbst die aufgewerte MiG-21 "Bison" war für ungute Überraschungen gut....
