BERLIN. Atomstreit? Sanktionen? Der deutsche Handel mit Iran widersteht jedem politischen Einfluss und wächst. „Wir erleben einen echten Kaufrausch der Iraner“, sagte ein deutscher Industrievertreter dem Handelsblatt. „Es sieht fast nach Hamsterkäufen aus.“

Nach den dem Handelsblatt vorliegenden neuesten Außenhandelszahlen waren schon von Januar bis August die deutschen Exporte in die Islamische Republik um 11,6 Prozent auf 2,5 Mrd. Euro gestiegen. Die deutschen Einfuhren aus dem Land verdoppelten sich gegenüber den ersten acht Monaten 2009 gar auf 532 Mio. Euro.

Tavakkoli said that IEEE, the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology, in a recent report examined the performances of the robots Asimo (Japan), Reem-B (Spain), Justin (German), Charli (US) and Surena (Iran).

The official pointed out that IEEE called Surena as an “unexpected development.”
