Alvand (Alvand Klasse)
Alborz (Alvand Klasse)
Sabalan (Alvand Klasse)

Fertiggestellt
Jamaran (Mowj Klasse)
Damavand (Mowj Klasse)

Aktuell im Bau

-in Bandar Abbas:
Sahand (Sahand Klasse), Rumpf fertig
1 weiterer Schffssrumpf dieser Größe im Rohbau

-in Bostanu/ISOICO:

Zitat:Iranian Navy Test-Fires New Home-Made Torpedo

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari announced that his force has test-fired a newly-developed home-made torpedo successfully.

"The torpedo can be fired by submarines, vessels and air defense systems," Sayyari said in a press conference in Tehran on Saturday.
...
Launched from 533 mm torpedo tubes, the VA-111 exits the tube at 50 knots (93 km/h). Shortly afterwards, its liquid-fuel rocket ignites and propels it to speeds of up to 200 knots (370 km/h). Some reports indicate that speeds of 250+ knots may be achieved, and that work on a 300-knot (560 km/h) version was underway. The rocket engine uses a combination of high test peroxide and kerosene; the propellant tanks contain about 1500 kg of hydrogen peroxide and 500 kg of kerosene.

Sat Dec 27, 2014 6:20PM GMT

A flotilla of the Iranian Navy has conducted reconnaissance operations on the third day of major military exercises code-named Mohammad Rasoulollah (Mohammad, the Messenger of God) south of the country.

The warships, which include the Jamaran destroyer and Bushehr logistic gunboat, conducted the operation as part of the wide-scale drills on Saturday.

Iran’s Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said Fateh (Conqueror) submarine was tested in the exercises as well.

Combat and logistics units of the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces also participated in the exercises by moving heavy and light weaponry and ammunition.

A transport drone with the capability to carry consignments such as bombs, explosives, medicine and food was also used in the drills.

An Iranian Air Force's P3F plane also exercised intercepting radio messages during the maneuvers. According to Iran’s Air Force, the message interception system of the plane was used for the first time in the drills.

Fighter jets, including Sukhoi Su-24 fighter plane, Dassault Mirage fighter jet, and F-4 Phantom fighter jet were also used in the war games.

Various fixed and tactical radars, visual surveillance, electronic message interception sites and different artillery as well as control and missile systems were also deployed in this phase of drills.
