CdG is a CVN with cats and straps. There is no way to adapt the QE design like this. The consideration by the French was at the early stage of the design of the QE's.

I think we've waited long enough. WW2 was 75 years ago! We have to be fast now, given the geopolitical developments. But in my alternative vision also step by step! First the German JSS's, then (small) LHD's and only around 2040 aircraft carriers. Enough time imo to get used to it
