Bis zum 31. Dezember 2003 haben Britische Firmen mehr als 23% der Unteraufträge für den JSF gewonnen (3.3 Mrd. Dollar von 3.6 Mrd. Dollar sind zirka 92% (Britischer Anteil an den JSF Auslandsaufträgen) das dann mal etwas mehr als 25% (Gesamtauslandsanteil) ergibt die 23% an den Gesamtunteraufträgen).
