Während die einfachen Ukrainer tapfer für ihr Vaterland kämpfen, und dadurch vor allem anderen die Pfründe der ins Ausland geflohenen ukrainischen Oligarchen erhalten und deren Wohlstand und Reichtum gegen den russischen Zugriff sichern, sichern sich diese den freiwerdenden Besitz der einfachen ukrainischen Bauern welche praktischerweise an der Front haufenweise sterben, damit die Reichen in der Ukraine noch reicher werden, und westliche Investoren natürlich auch.

The Oakland Institute notes that, while large landholders are securing massive financing from Western financial institutions, Ukrainian farmers — essential for ensuring domestic food supply — receive virtually no support. With the land market in place, amid high economic stress and war, this difference of treatment will lead to more land consolidation by large agribusinesses.

Endlich geht seit 2020 mal wieder was voran, und der Krieg hat die massiven Proteste in der Ukraine gegen diese politischen Beschlüsse günstigerweise vollständig beseitigt:

Zunächst war ja der Plan, die kleinen und mittleren Bauern alle zu verschulden, und dann über die Schulden sich deren Land zu greifen, nun beschleunigt der Krieg diesen Plan doch erheblich und vereinfacht die Sache doch deutlich:

The opening of the land market on July 1 this year gave hundreds of thousands of small and medium-sized farmers in Ukraine a new type of asset - land. Now one can sell land, buy it with a mortgage, or take a business loan secured by land they own. This is without exaggeration a historic event, made possible by the leadership of the President of Ukraine, the will of the parliament and the hard work of the government. But there is a last, but essential task - to ensure the rapid provision of loans to small and medium-sized farmers on affordable terms. To this end, the Verkhovna Rada needs to adopt as soon as possible the law on the Partial Credit Guarantee Fund, which is included in the agenda of the current session.

Limited access to finance, including bank loans, has long been a barrier for small and medium-sized agricultural producers, who produce more than 50% of Ukraine's total agricultural output. According to a World Bank study, most of them do not have access even to basic banking services. Banks mostly work with farmers whose farms are larger than 500 hectares and who grow grain and oilseeds. Moreover, interest rates on loans for SMEs are on average 5-7% per annum higher.
