Ja, da habt ihr beide durchaus recht. Wenn man den Faktor 3,6 heranzieht (von m/s auf km/h) und die Entfernung von Teheran nach Jerusalem (ca. 1.900 Kilometer, also 1,9 Mio. Meter) - und wenn man den Propagandatönen aus Iran mit diesen 400 Sekunden glauben mag -, dann würden wir von 1.900.000 m/400 s ausgehen, also 4.750 m/s. Das mit dem Faktor 3,6 verrechnet wären 17.100 km/h, also grob Mach 14,5.

Da habe ich dann doch leise Zweifel, ob die Iraner das hinbekommen würden. Aber wie gesagt: Propagandatöne...

Die Entfernung von Teheran nach Jerusalem beträgt knapp 1.600 km, aber warum sollte man Teheran als Startort annehmen? Im Artikel wird eine dafür eh nicht ausreichende angegebene Reichweite von 1.400 km erwähnt, und logischerweise würde man solche Waffen in Grenznähe abfeuern. Die Distanz schrumpft da schnell auf ~1.100 km (Iran-Israel). Bei 400 Sekunden Flugzeit wären dies etwa 2,75 km/s / 9.900 km/h, das ist je nach Bedingungen etwa Mach 8 bis 9. Das wäre ein durchaus ambitionierter Hyperschallflugkörper, aber ein solcher ist die Fattah gar nicht.
Schon die gezeigte Form der Rakete macht deutlich, dass es sich im Grundsatz um eine ballistische Rakete handelt. Dies wird in der weiteren Berichterstattung so auch von iranischer Seite bestätigt, und die Rakete folgerichtig auch als Teil der erweiterten Fateh-Familie bezeichnet. Die wesentlichen Merkmale sind vor allem die Manövrierfähigkeit wohl insbesondere in der Endphase des Flugbereichs, der im Vergleich beispielsweise zur Zolfaghar höheren Reichweite sowie dem Feststoffantrieb im Vergleich zu den schweren ballistischen Raketen. Ausgehend von dieser Prämisse sind dann auch die angegebenen Mach 14 weitaus weniger "ambitioniert" und in Anbetracht der Leistungsdaten nicht großartig unrealistisch.

New ballistic missile types delivered to IRGC

Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) officially received what appeared to be its first Khorramshahr and Haj Qasem ballistic missiles in a ceremony attended by President Ebrahim Raisi to mark the Defence Industry Day on 22 August.

Six liquid-fuel Khorramshahrs were shown with three solid-propellant Haj Qasems on either side during the ceremony, all of them on transporter erector launchers (TELs). The Khorramshahr was unveiled in September 2017 and two other versions have since been displayed, most recently the Khorramshahr-4 in May, but this was the first handover ceremony for the missile series that has been publicised.

The missiles all had the same large re-entry vehicle (RV) seen on the original version rather than smaller one seen on the Khorramshahr-2 or the powered one on the Khorramshahr-4. IRGC Aerospace Force Commander Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh has claimed the original Khorramshahr has a range of 2,000 km with an 1,800 kg warhead, although European experts have said its warhead weighs 1,500 kg, which still makes it Iran's most powerful ballistic missile.

Unabhängig von der möglichen Bedrohung durch Russland könnte es sein, dass die Beschaffung von Arrow 3 durch die Bundesregierung eine wirklich sinnvolle Sache ist.

Very-long-range anti-ship missile enters service with Iranian navy

The Islamic Republic of Iran Navy (IRIN) held a ceremony on 24 December to induct new equipment that included an anti-ship missile called the Talaiyeh, which is said to have a range of more than 1,000 km.

Iranian media coverage showed a Talaiyeh on display next to a mobile launcher at the naval base in Konarak, the headquarters of the IRIN's third region. It appeared to be the same type of missile as the one unveiled in August 2020, the Abu Mahdi, which is presumed to be the anti-ship variant of the long-range land-attack cruise missiles Iran has developed from the Soviet Kh-55s it is known to have obtained.

The Abu Mahdi was officially inducted into service by both the IRIN and the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN) in July 2023, when several were displayed during a ceremony.

The unveiling ceremony, attended by Defence Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani, showcased the Arman anti-ballistic missile system and the Azarakhsh low-altitude air defense missile system, both indigenously developed and vehicle-mounted. The Arman missile system, with its capability to engage six targets simultaneously within a range of 120km to 180km, represents a leap forward in Iran's anti-ballistic capabilities. On the other hand, the Azarakhsh system specializes in low-altitude defense, capable of identifying and neutralizing targets up to 50km away with its four ready-to-fire missiles. These systems are expected to enhance the Islamic Republic of Iran's air defense capabilities substantially, providing a robust shield against aerial threats.

Iran Unveils a New Long-Range Air Defence System
Iranian Armed Forces displayed a long-range air defence system, Bawar-373 (Power-373). During the military parade on Wednesday, the Iranian Armed Forces showed a variety of military weapons, including drones and long-range ballistic missiles. This occurred days following its strike on Israel. Among the weaponry on exhibit was the recently upgraded "Power-373" long-range air defence system. According to available information, the new system can target air targets up to 300 km away, including short-range ballistic missiles. The modified system features the Sayyad 4B solid-fuel surface-to-air missile's most recent version, improving its interception capabilities. In addition to its superior targeting capabilities, the "Power-373" system can detect up to 100 targets simultaneously, track 60 targets, and target six simultaneously.
