CHINA (Territorial Disputes)
• Responding to China’s move, South Korea is set (rmks: take effect on 15 Dec) to expand its ADIZ to partly overlap with China’s ADIZ … to include the southern islands of Marado and Hongdo, as well as Ieodo, a submerged rock claimed by both countries, but on which sits a South Korean research platform.
update: Japan will not oppose South Korean ADIZ expansion.
