Eine ältere Meldung aber trotzdem Interessant, die zwei MRTP-33 der pak. Marine befinden sich im Einsatz bei der Marinekomandoeinheit SSG(N). Sie werden zur Bekämpfung von Terror und Schmuggel eingesetzt und dienen weiterhin zum Schutz der pakistanischen Terretorialgewässer.

Navy gets 2nd multi-functions fast patrol craft

KARACHI (APP) – The second multi-functions Special Fast Patrol Craft was formally inducted into Pakistan Navy at an impressive ceremony held at Pakistan Navy’s Special Services Group unit PNS Iqbal on Thursday morning.
The Ambassador of Turkey to Pakistan H. Kemal Gur was the chief guest on the occasion.
The Ambassador expressed his delight over the induction of this craft into the PN Fleet.
He said that Pak-Turkey friendship dates back to the mid of 20th century and it is the desire of Turkish nation to see Pakistan emerging as a strong and developed country.
A strong Pakistan Navy would play a pivotal role in maintaining peace and balance in the region thereby significantly contributing towards the world peace, he added. Pakistan Navy, realising the importance and efficacy of Fast Patrol Boats in surface fleet operation, has acquired two such boats from Turkey.
The first boat has already been inducted in Pakistan Navy’s Special Services Group by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Shahid Karimullah.
