A joint military exercise conducted by the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), in which a number of its member nations took part, successfully concluded yesterday in the city of Khujand, Tajikistan.
Contingents from Tajikistan, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan took part in the military drills which lasted for duration of one week. The joint military exercise, codenamed Peace Mission 2012 was the first of its kind conducted in Tajikistan
