DSEI 2019: Swedish Army to receive first series production Mölnar self-propelled mortars
The Swedish Army will receive its first four series production Granatkastarpansarbandvagn 90 (Grkpbv 90) self-propelled mortars on 19 September, the Swedish Army told Jane's at the 2019 Defence and Security Equipment International exhibition (DSEI 2019) being held in London on 10-13 September.
Joakim Kylstad, development officer in the Swedish Armed Forces' Land Warfare Centre, said on 10 September that the vehicles would be delivered by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV).
This follows the delivery of the first four Grkpbv 90 pre-production vehicles to the FMV in February 2019 for training, testing, and validation. Deliveries of all 40 vehicles are expected to be completed during 2020. [...]
