Confrontations continue between Israeli elite troops and Islamic Resistance fighters; Israeli army admits 2 soldiers killed and pulls out destroyed tanks

The Islamic Resistance said in a statement that its fighters attacked Israeli forces in south Lebanon on Sunday, inflicting several casualties and destroying military vehicles. Hezbollah fighters attacked a concentration of Israeli military vehicles in Wadi Houneen on the border and an armored Israeli unit trying to advance towards Odaiseh village, killing and wounding several occupation soldiers. Witnesses said that the Israeli tanks withdrew from the location and pulled out ten destroyed tanks leaving three others (totally destroyed) near the Taybe Project region. The Islamic Resistance statement said two tanks and two bulldozers were destroyed in Odaiseh. After a total blackout on its casualties yesterday, the Israeli army admitted that one elite soldier was killed and more than 20 others were injured in confrontations in Ayta el-Shaab and another was killed in confrontations near the town of Taybe.
