Notebook: U.S.'s New Air Weapon

(CBS) CBS News correspondent David Martin visits Langley Air Force Base to see the U.S.'s latest air weapon unveiled. The stealth, F-22 fighter jet will not take on insurgents in Iraq, but rather Cold War aircraft in Iran and North Korea.

So why is the United States spending so much money on a plane conceived during the Cold War? While the Soviet threat may have disappeared, Russian-made anti-aircraft missiles and jet fighters have not.
