Russia and Iran have reached agreement on the overhaul and upgrade of 35 MiG-29 and 24 Su-24 airplanes. Most likely, in this case it is a question of part of an overall package of agreements which was signed by Russia with Iran. In this package, along with the overhaul of aircraft equipment, is included the purchase of the “Tor-M1” air defense system and several patrol boats. The total cost of the package of agreements according to different information is estimated at a total from 1 to 1.5 billion dollars.
