Canada Concentrates On Maritime, Arctic Ops

Focusing on maritime and Arctic surveillance could be the first step for the Canadian Forces and other government agencies to work more closely together on network-centric operations, says the head of the Canadian military organization that advises senior leaders on future capabilities.

The Canadian government has been pushing for closer links among its military, intelligence organizations and other federal agencies in what it is terming a “whole government approach” to security matters.
