BAE SYSTEMS TEST-FLIES FIRST RBAF HAWK
The first of six Hawk 129s destined for the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) made its first flight at Warton on Friday 26 August - some 9 months ahead of schedule.

THIRD NIMROD MRA4 JOINS THE FLEET
The third Nimrod MRA4 development aircraft, PA03, has successfully completed its first flight. It took off from BAE Systems’ Woodford site, near Manchester at 1645hrs on Monday, 29 August, and landed at the Company’s Warton base, near Preston after a 75 minute sortie.

70 NEW APPRENTICES AND £18.5 MILLION INVESTMENT HERALD BRIGHT CLYDE FUTURE
Scottish Deputy First Minister Nicol Stephen today welcomed 70 new apprentices to BAE Systems Naval Ships in Glasgow, whilst announcing a Regional Selective Assistance grant of up to £4.1million in support of an £18.5million investment programme by the company.
