Die junge türkische Firma Pars-Makina die sich mit der Forschung von Triebwerken auseinandersetzt, wurde im März 2005 gegründet. Pars-Makina forscht an der Entwicklung von Propeller und Turbojettriebwerken für UAV's. Für die Zieldrohne Turna von TAI hat Pars-Makina bereits ein Triebwerk entwickelt.

Design, manufacture and component test of a 45 kW rotary vane engine for a unmanned air vehicles started.


A new rotary vane engine is designed to power Turna, the unmanned air vehicle (UAV) of Tusas Aerospace Industries (TAI). This external combustion heat engine is operating according to a novel thermodynamic cycle having an efficient compression phase and a limited temperature combustion phase followed by a long power extraction phase.
