Dennoch ist es echt assig, daß man aufgrund des US-Drucks keine zivilen Flugzeuge verkaufen will/darf. Die Technik ist nicht sonderlich sensibel und eine Erneuerung trägt massgeblich zur Sicherheit der iranischen Passagiere bei.
Bleibt also der von mir beschriebene Weg, oder der Kauf von neuen Tupulev mit westlicher Avionik. Beides wird derzeit gemacht.
Und noch ne eher unangenehme Meldung :

LONDON, April 14 (IranMania) – Although Iranian President Mohammad Khatami and his French counterpart, Jacque Chirac had earlier signed an agreement on the purchase of 4 Airbus planes worth $50,000,000 from France, Air France said that due to the United States’ sanctions on Iran, Paris cannot carry out the deal.
According to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, Iran reclaimed the $50,000,000 it paid in advance for the purchase of the four planes.

LONDON, April 14 (IranMania) - The economy registered less than five percent growth between March 2004-5, lower than the annual growth rates recorded during the early years of Third Five-Year Economic Development Plan (2000-2005), announced deputy economy minister, Saeed Shirkavand here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the sideline of a seminar on the banking system’s achievements, Shirkavand told Fars news agency that the fourth five-year economic development plan forecasts an even higher annual growth rate for the economy than its predecessor.
The official said one of the main reasons for the less successful performance of the economy last year was international pressure on Iran to curb its nuclear activities as well as the unhelpful economic policies of the seventh Parliament.
