Over 250,000 jobs created

LONDON, Nov 29 (IranMania) - Iranian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Nasser Khaleqi said on Saturday that more than 50,000 jobs have been created through job marketing centers and 200,000 under the self-employment scheme, IRNA said.

Khaleqi said the unemployment rate is decreasing adding the country needs to create 760,000 jobs annually to meet the demand.

He declared that unemployment rate has decreased to 10.4% in current year and said since the beginning of the Iranian year (March 21, 2004) 180,000 loans have been granted to the youth and unemployed.
