Zitat:Musharraf warns Israel of dire consequences against attack on Iran

NEW YORK: President General Pervez Musharraf has warned that Israel should get ready for dire consequences if it targets nuclear installations of Iran.

He made these remarks in an interview with Arabic daily, says a private TV channel.

President Musharraf underscored that Israel is neither policeman of the world nor has it any right to attack Iran. Israel is committing breach of world order. It should get ready to face horrendous eventualities if it attacks Iran, he added.

He went on to say that Israel's military offensive against Iran would leave negative impact on the region and the entire world. Iran should give up its hard liner stance in this respect, he proposed.

To a query on sending troops to Iraq he said that Pakistan is ready to send its forces if Muslim countries contribute their troops.

He asserted that Pakistan is winning the war against the terrorism and will eliminate terrorist activities of Al-Qaeda militants.
