Damascus, May 18 - Iran's Minister of Transportation Ahmad Khorram said that Iran will transfer its experiences on fighting the US sanctions to Syria.
He made the remark Monday night in damascus airport where he was officially welcomed with his Syrian counterpart Makram Ubayd.
He voiced Iran's readiness to transfer to Syria technical knowhow and the latest technological achievements in repairing airplanes, building and repairing railway wagons, manufacturing cars and other experiences in different industrial areas.
He said he will discuss ways of forming and putting in practice the joint transportation commission already agreed upon with the Syrian officials.
He also noted that Iran and Syria are to cooperate in three areas of road, railway and air transportation.
Ubayd, too, said that in the present conditions where Syria is facing fresh sanctions by the US, it certainly expects Iran to continue with its help to the country.
Pointing to mutual cooperation and very close ties existing between the two countries, he hoped the relations further expand in future.
