ASELSAN Delivers PUHU 3-LT ES Systems on ARMA 6x6 Vehicle TurDef
ASELSAN’s recent delivery of PUHU 3-LT electronic support systems includes the ARMA 6x6 AFV-mounted configuration with higher protection and mobility.

ASELSAN has delivered a large amount of PUHU 3-LT electronic support systems in both truck-mounted and armoured-vehicle mounted configuration. The armoured vehicle configuration for PUHU 3-LT uses the Otokar ARMA 6x6 AFV as the platform, offering higher mobility.

PUHU 3-LT is a communication ESM system that covers the V/UHF bands with direction finding and location capabilities to improve the situtational awareness.

Alongside the general use, PUHU 3-LT is also integrated into the Steel Dome IADS alongside the KORAL electronic warfare system.

Another passive sensing capability that ASELSAN is working on is the ALP 150-G/P passive radar that is expected to be a optimised solution against aircraft.

EJDERHA Mobile HPEM System Enters Turkish Army Inventory TurDef
ASELSAN’s EJDERHA mobile HPeM system, integrated on Otokar’s ARMA 6x6 armoured vehicle to counter IED threats, has entered the Turkish Army’s inventory.

Turkish MoD and ASELSAN announced the entry of the EJDERHA mobile HPeM system into the Turkish Army’s inventory, focusing on electronically triggered IED threats with its soft/functional kill equipment.

The system mounted on Otokar’s ARMA 6x6 armoured vehicle, also used for the PUHU 3-LT ESM system as a platform option, consists of a HPeM weapon for functional kill and jammers at the back for soft kill.

The HPeM system with a large antenna at the front disables the electronics of IED setups through short-circuiting, while the rear jammers are used to break the command link between the remote and explosives.
