IDF says over 50% of Hezbollah’s rocket barrage on northern Israel last night was thwarted

• Hezbollah aimed to launch 100+ rockets, fired about 40 short range rockets, several missiles, and 5 drones

• Most rockets were intercepted, fell in open areas, or landed inside Lebanon
• 1 rocket hit a home in Karmiel, causing damage
• All 5 drones were intercepted

• Israeli Air Force struck launchers, crews, and command centers before and during the barrage
• Several launchers destroyed pre launch, at least 10 more hit after

• IDF estimates Hezbollah is firing about 150 rockets per day
• Group expected to escalate with larger barrages every few days

• About two thirds of fire targets IDF troops in southern Lebanon
• Remaining third targets Israel

• Hezbollah still holds thousands of short range rockets up to 40 km range
• Also maintains hundreds of longer range projectiles

• Most remaining capabilities positioned deeper in southern Lebanon, including north of the Litani River
• Short range fire now mostly limited to border areas and the Galilee

• Hezbollah has dispersed launch systems across multiple sites with fewer barrels per launcher
• Harder to detect, but reduces volume per salvo

• IDF strikes ongoing across Lebanon, including Tyre, described as a Hezbollah center of gravity
• New evacuation warnings issued ahead of strikes

• IDF also targeting Hezbollah owned gas stations to disrupt funding and mobility

• Fewer than 1,000 Radwan Force operatives crossed the Litani River
• IDF says at least 200 have been ELIMINATED
• Remaining fighters operating in small cells and retreating under pressure
