Military Industrialisation Authority
The Military Industrialisation Authority has signed a strategic industrial co-operation agreement with a Turkish company described as one of the leading firms in advanced industries.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Libyan side by Major Walid Al-Fitouri, deputy head of the authority, in the presence of Defence Ministry Undersecretary Major General Abdul Salam Al-Zoubi, according to a statement released by the authority.
The authority said the deal represents a “qualitative step” towards a new phase of development, including technology transfer, training and strengthening national industrial capacity in line with international standards.
It noted that the agreement follows a year of work by the authority’s new administration aimed at rehabilitating industrial infrastructure, improving technical efficiency and building partnerships based on the transfer of knowledge and expertise.
Separately, the authority said the Al-Asbi’a Industrial Complex is undergoing rehabilitation and equipment upgrades, with production gradually resuming. It described the move as part of a broader vision to revive national industry, support the economy and meet domestic demand.
