Qatar Emiri Coast Guard ULAQ USV Makes Debut at DIMDEX 2026 TurDef
Qatar Emiri Coast Guard’s ULAQ 11 PSV USV fitted with 12.7 mm RCWS made its debut during the DIMDEX 2026 defence exhibition held in Qatar’s capital, Doha.

The ULAQ 11 Port Security Vessel USV of the Qatar Emiri Coast Guard has been put on display at ULAQ Global's booth during DIMDEX 2025, fitted with a 12.7 mm RCWS. Qatar's ULAQ 11 PSV order was previously announced by ULAQ Global in October 2025.

This marks Qatar as the second known user of the ULAQ family of USVs after the Turkish Navy, which is using the ULAQ 12 variant expected to support ASW missions. After ULAQ 12, ULAQ KAMA kamikaze USV is expected to follow.

ULAQ family is being expanded towards larger scale missions with the 15 m class ULAQ 15, which is planned to use ROKETSAN’s ÇAKIR compact cruise missile among other payloads.
