Zitat:As we wait for the official announcement of the end to the war in Gaza and the return of the hostages, a few reminders are in order.https://x.com/HilzFuld/status/1976065113707679872
Two years and two days ago, Hamas invaded Israel and did what they did. I don’t need to remind you of the details. But I do need to remind you what happened since that horrible day.
Trump is reportedly about to announce that Hamas has agreed to the deal to return all the hostages. If you think that was an easy decision for Hamas, you could not possibly be any more wrong. This is a total embarrassment for the pedos of Hamas and you can be sure, to save face, they will try to spin this as some sort of victory.
You can expect the lunatics in Gaza to celebrate, but let there be no mistake, nothing, and I mean nothing about this war, was anything other than a total Israeli victory.
In fact, Israel achieved things in this war that I don’t think even Israel expected or hoped for in its wildest dreams. Don’t get me wrong. October 7th was, and always will be one of the darkest days of our history. That won’t change. What will change, what HAS changed, is the entire Middle East.
So let me tell you in the simplest possible terms why this is a historic victory for Israel. Anyone who claims that Hamas achieved anything in this war is delusional.
- Gaza is destroyed.
- Hamas’ military leadership is burning in hell.
- Any Hamas stronghold in Gaza is obliterated including Rafah and Gaza city.
- Hamas was forced by the entire Arab world to accept this deal. Unprecedented.
- Hamas’ sugar daddy, Iran, is reduced to a weak regime that has nothing left other than a big mouth on Twitter.
- Hezbollah didn’t stand by Hamas from day one.
- Hezbollah is basically extinct.
- Israel bombed Qatar. The fake apology was exactly that, an act. Israel sent a very clear message. Hamas leaders are safe nowhere. (That attack has a part two. Stay tuned.)
- I know I mentioned that the military leadership of Hamas is gone but it’s worth saying their names. Deif. Haniyeh. Sinwar. All burning in hell.
- Nasrallah! Dead. I don’t think we give this enough credit. This was a HUGE win for Israel.
- The Houthis leadership is with the Hamas leadership in hell.
- Iran is no longer an imminent nuclear threat to Israel and to the world. That, too will have a continuation.
- With all due respect to Trump, and he deserves a lot of credit, the only reason Hamas agreed to this deal is because of the international pressure and the only reason there was such pressure is because Israel applied unprecedented military force and the Arab world realized the show is over.
- There are serious discussions about peace between Israel and multiple Arab states including Lebanon and Syria, something that would have been considered fantasy before this war. The Abraham accords 2.0 are around the corner.
- How could we discuss Israeli victories without mentioning the beepers and the walkie talkies? Maybe the most incredible military achievement in Israel’s history.
- Renewed discussions about Israel applying sovereignty over Judea and Samaria (huge!).
- The collapse of the Assad regime in Syria.
- A global consensus that Hamas will not rule Gaza and neither will the PA. The significance of this cannot be overstated.
- Initial but important signs of Gazans speaking up against Hamas in hopes for a better future.
- Israel got its mojo back big time.
Listen. There are still many questions about 10/7. How did it happen? Where was the IDF?
There are many questions about how Israel will handle the widespread PTSD caused by this war.
There are many questions about the future of Israeli politics and specifically, the current government.
There are many questions about what happens to Hamas after this deal.
There are many questions about Gaza and any possible future for Gazans who don’t want to live like this anymore.
There are many challenges ahead with regards to IDF soldiers who stopped their lives for two years. Their jobs. Their families. Even their marriages. It won’t be easy. Nothing about this is simple. There are many questions that lie ahead.
But there is one thing that is definitely not a question. There is absolutely no question that Israel won this war and achieved things beyond its wild imagination.
Would we have preferred to avoid all of this? Of course. But it happened, and now the Middle East is changed for the better and will never be the same.
There is a clear road ahead to a possible broader peace between Israel and the Arab world and let there be no mistake. The one and only reason that we are even having this discussion about getting our hostages back and bringing stability to the Middle East is because Israel kicked some serious radical Islamic tuchus!
Israel reminded the entire world who Israel is and what it’s made of. Israelis showed unprecedented levels of unity and resilience. The Israeli leadership stood up to incredible levels of pressure including not entering Lebanon and Rafah and Gaza City to name a few.
Netanyahu told the world to sit this one out while we take care of business and that is precisely what we did. We took care of business and changed the world forever. So let those psychopaths give out their candies. Let them continue with their propaganda and lies. That’s their business.
In Israel, we will celebrate the return of our hostages and while Hamas will bring more and more destruction to wherever they end up, here in Israel, we will rebuild and continue to achieve incredible things on all fronts.
In other words, Israel reminded the world that we won’t be bullied anymore. Israel reminded the world not to mess with the Jews because we will no longer take it.
I’ll just say one more thing. Some people question how it is that it took Israel a whole two years to defeat Hamas. They wonder whether the IDF is not what it used to be. They are looking at this all wrong.
This is a war like no other for endless reasons but the important thing here is that for the first time in history, the Jews were able to fight back and defend ourselves for two years straight. That is incredible. That is historic. That is miraculous. That is biblical.
Now let’s get our people out of the hell they’re been through.
Let’s heal.
Let’s rebuild.
Then let’s continue to change the world.
Victory: Israel! 🇮🇱💪✡️
This photo will go down in history as the moment the president of the United States was notified that an agreement was reached and the hostages are all coming home.
Today is a historic day.
Today; we are reminded again that Am Yisrael is very much Chai!
Now, we fulfill the promise we’ve all been making for two years. The hostages are expected home on the holiday of Simchat Torah, the day on which they were kidnapped.
We said we’d dance again and in just a few days, as those families are reunited, we will indeed dance again!
Und weil wir uns stets um eine realistische Einschätzung bemühen sollten:

There’s no phase two. That's clear to everyone, right? Phase two might happen someday, but it’s unrelated to what’s just been signed.
The deal signed now is a hostage release deal. It doesn’t imply anything about the future. Theoretically, fantasies could come true: Emiratis and allies dismantling tunnels, an international body formed, Tony Blair governing Gaza.
All this could happen in theory, but it’s not part of the current tactical negotiations. What we have now is a hostage deal, and a ceasefire while talks continue in good faith.
There’s the question of course: who decides if talks are happening in good faith?
Under Trump, Israel has previously said “Talks aren’t genuine or productive,” and resumed fighting. But this time, I don’t think we’ll see IDF tanks rushing back into Gaza, like what happened when the last two ceasefires ended.
The big question is: Are we moving towards the Lebanese model Israel mentioned? In other words, the IDF stays beyond the international border and strikes targets from the air when it detects buildups or threats.
Attempts to harm Israel are obvious. But what we’re talking about is buildup efforts, like digging more tunnels or building more arms-producing lathes. This is what Israel is aiming for. The reasonable assumption in Jerusalem is that President Trump will approve it.
That’s one point.
The IDF will withdraw to the 53% line. It was 57% initially, then dropped to 53% when the hostages will be freed.
The talks afterwards are based on the principle of Israeli withdrawal in return for demilitarization and dismantling. Of course, we all assume that Hamas won’t disarm willingly, and the Emiratis and other international forces won’t achieve this quickly either.
Now, regarding the hostage issue. I’ll admit than when I hear people say that Israel is “making peace with enemies,” I smell Oslo in the air, and the implications it carries. This isn’t peace, and these are bitter enemies, still on their knees.
