Bayraktar TB3s Drop MAM-Ls After Taking off from TCG Anadolu TurDef


Bayraktar TB3 UCAVs’ third and fourth prototypes hit a land target with ROKETSAN’s MAM-L lightweight glide munition during the Denizkurdu 2025 naval exercise.

Previously, the naval UCAVs performed consecutive takeoffs while carrying the MAM-L munitions, as a form of rehearsal before the munition tests. This marks the first time Bayraktar TB3 performed a munition test from TCG Anadolu (L400) LHD, which will have the UCAVS as its main airborne armed ISR assets.

Following this test, Bayraktar TB3 can be expected to perform shipborne munition tests with heavier munitions such as MAM-T and UAV-122, which it dropped after taking off from a normal runway.
