TAYFUN Tested Second Time
The first test firing of the TAYFUN Ballistic Missile developed by Roketsan was carried out on October 18, 2022. A mobile telemetry unit was installed in Sinop to monitor the second shot, which took place at 6:44 on the morning of May 23.


The missile's range has not been disclosed, but it can be expected to have a range of about a thousand kilometres based on its dimensions.

Roketsan is Preparing Versions of the TAYFUN Ballistic Missile
Roketsan General Manager Murat İkinci assesed Roketsan's works to Anadolu News Agency on the occasion of the centenary of the Republic of Turkiye. İkinci said, “The TAYFUN missile will not consist of a single product; it will have variants. It will continue its path as a strategic weapon system that will serve our armed forces as a product family with its warhead diversity and capability diversity in its warheads. Mass production of TAYFUN continues. In the following stages, the TAYFUN project will continue its life not as a finished product but as a system that will meet the needs of our armed forces at the highest level in the future, with its variants and new capabilities.”
