The “Minas Gerais” currently on the towline of a deep-sea tug on-route to India for break-up has a date with destiny of April 5, 2004. With a scrap steel value of approximately 5 million USD and a non-ferrous metal value of an additional 2 Million she seems sure to succumb to the realities of her fate. As exclusive agents of the owner, we have until April 5th 2004 to preserve her present form and to honor her history and the legacy of the brave souls that served their countries aboard her.
Agreements for purchase of $6.5 Million USD will be considered, as a delivered price, up to and including March 31st 2004.
