Breaking: Iraqi Security Forces Capture Baiji District

The Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) – in coordination with Hashd Al-Sha’abi and the Badr Brigades – have imposed full-control over the entire Baiji District after almost two consecutive months of non-stop fighting with the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) at this area located directly north of Tikrit – the provincial capital of the Salahiddeen Governorate.

With ISIS’ withdrawal from the Baiji District, the Iraqi Security Forces and their allies now control more than 70 percent of the Salahiddeen Governorate, along with 90 percent of the Diyala-Salahiddeen border.

Iraqi Shiite Volunteer Forces Getting Ready for Mosul Battle

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Iraqi Shiite militia movement known as the Hashed al-Shaabi has formed a military command center for a campaign to recapture the ISIL terrorists' main stronghold of Mosul, a spokesman for the movement announced Wednesday.

EXCLUSIVE: Syrian Army Hits Hard ISIL Leaders' Command Meeting in Deir Ezzur

TEHRAN (FNA)- A team of Syrian army's special forces raided a meeting of the ISIL commanders in an inside job and killed tens of the militants' leaders.
At least 40 ISIL terrorist leaders were killed during the army's raids on their gathering in al-Quriya district of al-Mayadeen city in Deir Ezzur province in Eastern Syria.

According to the military sources, the operation was the result of an inside job by the Syrian spies.

Earlier this month, a large number of ISIL terrorists were also killed in Syrian army's airstrikes against ISIL leaders' gathering centers in Raqqah province.

Syrian fighter jets had hit ISIL positions in Raqqa province and managed to kill tens of high-profile Takfiri commanders in the area.

Early tips from informants in ISIL camps disclosed that a large group of ringleaders, mainly from Saudi Arabia and Tunisia, have been killed in the raid.
