Lockheed Martin Awarded Contract for Kongsberg JSM Integration on F-35 Aircraft

The U.S. Department of Defense announced that Lockheed Martin is being awarded a $35,6 million delivery order to complete a Joint Strike Missile (JSM, the air launched variant of the NSM - Naval Strike Missile) risk reduction and integration study on the F-35 Air System for the Government of Norway.....

Rolls-Royce has been awarded contracts to build and maintain lift fan systems for the F-35B that allow the new stealth fighter to hover and land vertically.

The Derby-based business said the three separate contracts are worth up to $442m (£290m) and were agreed with Pratt & Whitney, the American engine-maker which is producing the engines to power the new aircraft.....
