The Japanese government has released a statement agreeing with the Chinese government on improving bilateral relations … “the two governments acknowledged they have different views but agreed to avoid any escalation of tension through dialogue and discussion.”
(rmks: there will even be a short „summit meeting“ on the sidelines of upcoming Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Beijing)
