FINLAND (multinational)
Finland-hosted multinational exercise “Northern Coasts 2014” kicked off in Turku … two-week exercise (until 12 Sep) with in-port phase (29 Aug – 01 Sep), serialized training (01 Sep – 08 Sep), “free play” crisis response scenario (08 Sep – 11 Sep) with focus on evacuation operations (NEO) and PXD on 12 Sep … some 50 ships/boats and 20 aircraft from 11 navies (Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, USA).
(rmks: list of participants does not mention Estonia) ...
