Baltic Shipyard has deferred delivery of new landing ship IVAN GREN to the Russian navy to 2015 … claims “in the initial project stages” (rmks: construction started in 2004) the “MoD failed to provide documentation on time and poorly funded the project”.

Without giving any reason, the Russian navy has pushed back the intended in-service date for a new NITKA deck-landing training installation at Yeisk (Sea of Azov) by almost a year to November, 2014.
