Second Japan-India Maritime Exercise (JIMEX) kicked off in the Bay of Bengal … until 22 Dec in-port and at-sea phases of two days each … activities to include VBSS, cross deck helicopter operations, and ASUW, ASW and AAW scenarios … Indian navy to contribute destroyer RANVIJAY, frigate SATPURA and missile corvette KUTHAR; Japan sent destroyers ARIAKE and SETOGIRI.
