DAMASCUS (Ma'an) -- The secretary general of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command said Monday that the group will attack the interests of all those who launch military action against Syria.

"The Palestinian people stand by Syria, which is locked in a battle of defense for Palestine and the Arab nation," he said , adding that the Palestinian faction loyal to Assad would "resist US aggression on Syria in the spirit of martyrdom."

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (Ma'an) -- Saudi Arabia will donate $200 million to Palestinian municipal councils, Saudi media reported Sunday.

The funding, allocated by Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, will help develop and expand infrastructure in Palestinian cities to support residents against "Zionist judaization and settlement attacks," the minister said.
