ISLAMABAD — Pakistan invested about $3.2 billion in its nuclear weapons and missile programs since inception in early the 1970s, a senior government official said Sunday.
The official told a select group of journalists that 2% of the national budget and 7.8% of the defense budget during last 32 years was pumped into the development of nuclear weapons and missiles. (Kyodo News)
