The Russian navy reportedly has decided to put veteran TANGO class (Proj 641B) submarine B-380 SVYATOI KNYAZ GEORGY (former GORKOVSKY KOMSOMOLETS) back to service with the Black Sea Fleet … gap-filler until arrival of LADA class … has been kept at Sevastopol shipyard since 1991 … repairs to start in 2013 (problematic due to lack of spare parts, especially for batteries).
(rmks: mmmh … must be somewhat desperate … could indicate they expect more delays to LADA class)
