Iran may take legal action against sanctions at UN court

TEHRAN, July 4 (MNA) - Iran may take legal action at the International Court of Justice (The Hague) against U.S.-led sanctions, the president of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture said on Tuesday.

Mohammad Nahavandian said during the recent session of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), some ICC’s members criticized the unilateral sanctions of United States and the European Union against Iran.

“The members asserted that the unilateral sanctions are in contradiction to the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce and also against the international free trade frameworks,” Nahavandian added.
