TEHRAN, June 7 (MNA) – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced on Thursday that Iran is ready to meet China’s oil and gas needs for a long time.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to deliver” oil to China outside “the Strait of Hormuz and through constructing gas pipelines through Pakistan and Afghanistan to meet China’s energy needs for a long term,” Ahmadinejad told Wu Bangguo, the chairman of China’s National People's Congress (NPC) in Beijing.
