Bahraini protester run over by police car dies in hospital

Another Bahraini protester has died in hospital after being run over by a police car during a protest rally in the Persian Gulf country, Press TV reports.

The main opposition movement in Bahrain, Al-Wefaq Party, also said on Saturday that a 15 year-old protester was in critical condition after being shot by security forces.

Mohammed Ahmed Abdel Aziz and several people were injured after they attended the funeral ceremony of citizen journalist Ahmed Ismail who was killed during a protest late last month, it said.

“He sustained bullet wounds to the chest as police fired tear gas and live rounds on mourners,” Al-Wefaq said.
