Was haltet ihr vom französischen SSN. Kann es mit der Astute mithalten.
Ich glaube die Astute wird leicht überlegen sein,aber die Barracuda wird ein
hervoragendes SSN.

Work completed during the feasibility study phase has produced a design of 4,100 tons surfaced displacement (considerably larger than the 2,400 ton Rubis class) with a maximum speed of over 25kt, and a maximum diving depth of over 350m. Increased automation will cut crew size to 60 (against 75 in the current Rubis-class boats).
Barracuda will have four 533mm torpedo tubes, with a total of 18 weapon spaces. Weapon discharge will use a water ram system.
Armament will include a new-generation heavyweight torpedo, an upgraded version of the SM 39 Exocet underwater-to-surface guided weapon, and the new Scalp Naval land-attack cruise missile. Barracuda will also be capable of deploying mines and operating with special forces detachments.
