Top officials hold an emergency security meeting in Ankara after 13 soldiers are killed and seven wounded in an ambush in Diyarbakır

Thirteen soldiers were killed and seven wounded in an ambush in Diyarbakır’s Silvan district, the Anatolia news agency reported Thursday. Alarmed by the news, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan canceled all of his programs and called for an emergency security meeting in his office in Ankara.
