Sofern es sich tatsächlich um die Folge eines Angriffs auf einen zivilen Atomreaktor gehandelt hat, sind die Implikationen gravierend. Diese Form des Atomkriegs (mit möglicheriwese tausenden Toten) wurde kürzlich auf der Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz erörtert. Sofern man im Westen selbst so viel Angst davor hat, sollte man sich sehr hüten sich da selbst als Täter zu betätigen. Allerdings ist im Augenblick noch nicht klar, worauf die erneute Entnahme aller Brennstäbe aus dem Reaktorkern zurück zu führen ist.

Iran releases ship seized in Hong Kong

An Iranian container ship seized in Hong Kong due to “sanctions-related problems” has been released, says the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines.
The ship was seized more than three months ago upon the order of a German bank which decided to call in loans it had made to IRISL early due to UN sanctions against Iran, the IRISL Chief Executive Mohammad Hossein Dajmar said on Saturday.

“Measures taken by IRISL for complete loan settlement with the European bank neutralized the international plot to stop Iran's national shipping line,” he added.
Four other IRISL-operated vessels were impounded in 2010 -- three of them held in Singapore were released in January but one is still impounded in Malta.

IAEA responds to Iranian scientist's wife

Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano has responded to a letter from the wife of an assassinated Iranian nuclear scientist.

As the IAEA chief, Amano wrote, he was fully committed to help prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons and promote nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
In her letter to Amano, Qassemi had condemned the assassination of scientists, including Dr. Sharhriari, and called on the IAEA chief to spare no effort to prevent similar attacks.
She had also denounced the nuclear bombings, by the US, of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki which killed thousands of Japanese.

Aber natüüürlich bleiben weitere offene Punkte zu klären..na logo. Angesichts obenstehender Ereignisse wären allerdings vom Sicherheitsrat noch ganz andere Dinge zu klären. Aber neee..
