Iran's Nuclear Capability Unharmed Contrary to Western Assessments
TEHRAN (FNA)- Federation of American Scientists in a report published recently underlined that the US attempts to hack Iran's nuclear softwares and networks have failed to cause a major setback in the country's nuclear capability, stressing that Iran's atomic activities have not at all slowed down.
"Calculations based on IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) data show that Iran has increased its enrichment performance over the past year," said Ivanka Barzashka, an FAS research associate.
"Contrary to statements by US officials and many experts, Iran clearly does not appear to be slowing down its nuclear drive."
Barzashka, the FAS researcher, also said that the total uranium enrichment capacity at Iran's Natanz site increased last year.
"The boost in capacity is due to an apparent increase in centrifuge performance," her report said.
