Diplomat optimistic about outcome of Istanbul talks

TEHRAN – Iran’s deputy foreign minister for international and legal affairs has expressed hope that “win-win outcome” would be achieved at the talks between Iran and the major powers in Istanbul, Turkey, on Friday and Saturday.

“We are hopeful that at the upcoming talks in Istanbul, the negotiating sides show goodwill and honesty, and a win-win outcome be achieved,” Mohammad Mahdi Akhoundzadeh said in a meeting with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov on Tuesday.
